About our Web Development Company

Web Informática originally started out within a kitchen space in 1997, under the name OpenSystems. The founders were a 22 years old graphic design student and a 24 years old coder. A couple of months later, a 17 years old tech savvy boy joined the team and the group moved to a larger space: a garage. Here, the company was formally incorporated and its name changed to Web Informática.

It took the group a couple of years to establish themselves as the go-to-company for corporations venturing into “cyberspace” in the Central American region. As the company grew, hiring more talent and moving out of the garage, well known brands selected our Web Development Company as advisors or developers for their digital plans. That is how, at a very early age, our founders got to work for brands such as Coca-Cola, Ford, Mazda, CAT, and became leaders in e-banking and e-commerce development.

Those were the humble beginnings of our company. Now, over 25 years later, we have been fortunate to serve more than one thousand companies in more than seven international markets, many of them being world class organizations or exciting startups.

Web Informática is now part of CAPA UNO, a digital acceleration and angel investment consulting group.
